Effective August 1, 2026

Palace Duel is a competitive one-on-one card game. This policy explains what information we collect when you play, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what control you have. We have written it in plain language rather than legalese.

The short version

  • We collect what we need to run your account and your matches, and not much else.
  • We do not sell your information, and the game shows no advertising.
  • We never see your card number. Apple handles every payment.
  • You can delete your account, and the data attached to it, from inside the game at any time.

07 Your choices and rights

Available to everyone

If you are in California or another US state with a privacy law

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request a copy of it, to ask us to correct or delete it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing for you to opt out of. To make a request, email us; we may need to verify that the request comes from you.

If you are in Canada

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent to our use of it, subject to legal and contractual limits.

If you are in Quebec, you also have the right to receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format, and to request that we stop disseminating it. The person responsible for the protection of personal information at Palace Duel LLC is our Managing Member, reachable at support@palaceduel.com. Before transferring personal information outside Quebec, we assess whether it will receive adequate protection.

08 Children and teenagers

Palace Duel is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

Some countries set a higher minimum age for consenting to online services without a parent. If the law where you live sets a higher age than 13, that higher age applies to you, and you may only use Palace Duel with the consent of a parent or guardian.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account, email us at support@palaceduel.com and we will remove it.

09 How we protect your data

Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. Traffic between the game and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to our production database is restricted to accounts that need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these obligations seriously and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.

10 Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and give notice inside the game. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before the change applies to you.
